Plaque buildup is a common problem and most people experience it at some point in their lives. It occurs when bacteria buildup in the mouth and a biofilm known as plaque forms a protective coating around them. This can be an issue because it leads to gum disease when the buildup is around the gums. Further, the bacteria produce lactic acid which burns holes in your teeth. This is why special care should be put into preventing plaque buildup. Thankfully, there is a simple mixture that has been known to prevent plaque. All that is required is a 1/4 teaspoon of both 3% hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. Mix this with about a half cup of water. Then, brush your teeth like normal with this solution. This new solution could just be the solution to all your plaque problems.
